Dash Gives Back
Many people dream of owning a home one day; however, the home loan process can be difficult for people to navigate and others may face unforeseen challenges on their way towards purchasing a new home.
At Dash Home Loans, not only do we make the home loan process easy, but we also want to reduce and remove any additional obstacles facing worthy home buyers. We aim to help under-served communities raise their standard of living through on-going donations and charitable work, and we are proud to partner with local organizations that support our cause.
CASA
CASA is a nonprofit affordable housing developer that serves under-served communities through Durham, Wake, and Orange counties in cities such as Chapel Hill, Durham, and Raleigh. Some of the populations that CASA serves include low-income families, veterans, families with young children, and individuals who live with disabilities. Many of the individuals and families assisted by CASA were homeless at one point. These populations are incredibly vulnerable without a stable roof over their head, which impacts their abilities to find food, retain gainful employment, and provide for their children.
In the spring of 2020, Dash Home Loans launched a campaign to match community donations up to $50,000 for CASA. We met our goal, raising a total of $100,000 in June of the same year. The money went towards the organization’s housing and wellness efforts in the midst of COVID-19. Even though we take great pride in what we have done so far, we know that more needs to happen. Watch our Division President Tina Konidaris talk about why we are so passionate about this organization!
Help support CASABig Brothers, Big Sisters
In addition to our partnership with CASA, Dash Home Loans also closely supports Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Central Carolinas. This well-known organization provides mentors to children in need, and their goal is to help children reach their full potential, accessing a brighter future. We are proud to partner with this great organization.
We are also proud to announce that Dash’s Division President Paul Carini won Big Brother of the Year in 2020! Thanks for all you do to help our Central Carolina community, Paul!

Their goal is to help parents so they can put their time and energy into the well being of their child. At Dash Home Loans, we are proud to have numerous of our employees involved in the organization, including one of our Division Presidents who is on the Board of Directors for Claire’s Army.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is an organization that supports patients with blood cancers. Blood cancers are among the most common in the world. Leukemia is the most common type of cancer in children. Dash is honored to contribute to such a critical charity, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.
Individuals who are undergoing therapy for leukemia and lymphoma, particularly children, are vulnerable to this infection. Dash is proud to help LLS raise money through their online gala providing support to individuals and families who desperately need it.
Ways to support LLSHabitat for Humanity
As one of the largest charity organizations in the world, Habitat for Humanity has been constructing houses for under-served and disadvantaged communities for decades. In 2018, Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. sponsored a service trip to Guatemala where members of the Dash Home Loans team participated in a Habitat for Humanity project.
There, the volunteers spent a week constructing homes for communities whose lives were turned upside down by deadly volcano eruptions that took place back in 2018. This is only one of the many charitable events that Habitat for Humanity puts on throughout the year. Homelessness is a major contributing factor to chronic illnesses, malnutrition, and violence. Our team is honored to have had the opportunity to help rebuild their community, providing shelter to families who desperately needed it.
Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids
Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids is run by local radio hosts Ace and TJ. Grin Kids is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the qualities of lives of children who live with disabilities and chronic illnesses. There are many children who depend on the support of organizations such as Grin Kids to help them during their time of need.
Dash had a great time while supporting Grin Kids at Kart for Kids, an event that gave many children the experience of a lifetime while also raising money for those in need. Grin Kids plays a crucial role in the local community, helping draw attention and awareness to these serious conditions that afflict children all over the world.
Serenity House Health
Everyone deserves the opportunity to pass on with dignity. The team with Serenity House strives to make that possible.
Serenity House is a place for the terminally ill and elderly who no longer wish to remain in the hospice setting. Residents who wish to seek a natural death are invited to Serenity House to receive 24-hour comfort and pain reduction care until the end of their lives.
Dash Home Loans is proud to support Serenity House and its mission to ensure that residents can connect with their loved ones and enjoy a quiet end to their lives.
Members of our team attended their recent charity gala, helping the organization raise funds to keep residents and facilities as comfortable as possible.
